Mission & Philosophy
Mission Statement
Colonial Home Care's mission is to provide professional services to clients in their homes or the facility where they reside, assisting them to achieve the highest level of potential in their day-to-day self-care activities and companionship services. We are committed to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary care by professionals who recognize the need for a comprehensive assessment of needs from both the client's and professional's point of view.
Vision Statement
At Colonial Home Care, we strive to be one of the leading providers of a wide range of quality home care services. We are recognized for our enduring dedication to providing innovative, professional, and compassionate care to the communities we serve.
Philosophy
Our goals and services are based on two fundamental philosophical principles: the belief in the innate worth of the aged and disabled individual; and the belief that each individual, regardless of age, race, color, creed, sex, national origin, or handicap(s), is entitled to maximize his potential as a human being and as a member of society.
Colonial Home Care is dedicated to rehabilitating aged and disabled individuals, whether in their homes or a facility, so they may maximize their contributions and fulfill their goals as family members and members of society with minimal conflict. In accomplishing this end, the individual's self-respect can and will be enhanced. Colonial Home Care contends that the aging process is a normal stage in the development of any individual and that chronic disease and disability are, to some degree, a part of that process.
—Client's Family in Vienna
Working with people with Alzheimer’s can be difficult, often my mother was confused and argumentative. Cathy was always nurturing and respectful.
